Widows’ Care & Food Support
To provide consistent monthly food support to widows in our community and affirm their dignity, so that no widow is forgotten or alone.
What this work involves.
At Cistern of Hope Foundation, we currently provide monthly food support to three widows in our community.
We recognise that the need extends far beyond the three families we are presently able to support. With limited resources, we have had to begin with what we can sustain, while remaining mindful of the many other widows who would benefit from consistent community support.
We believe every widow deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, and to know that she is not forgotten or alone.
We therefore invite individuals, organisations, and partners who share this conviction to stand with us as we seek to expand this initiative. Your partnership can help us reach more widows with practical support while affirming their dignity and reminding them that their lives and contributions to our communities matter.
